Eric Parelon holds an Engineering Aeronautical Master Degree from ENSICA and an Experimental Flight Test Engineer Degree from EPNER. Eric Parelon served during 25 years in Government Agencies. From 1984 to 2009, he held several positions in the French MoD (DGA) and the DGAC as Experimental Flight Test Engineer for DGAC and JAA in charge of major certification projects as ATR, A340, B737NG, ERJ170 and of JAA Rulemaking for Flight, Head of DGAC Certification Flight Test and Airworthiness Director of the French Flight Test Center. From 2003 to 2009, he worked for the OCCAR Agency (Joint Organisation for Armament Cooperation) in charge of A400M certification and qualification on behalf the 7 participating Nations. Eric Parelon joinded industry in 2009 in becoming Airworthiness Certification Vice-President for THALES AVIONICS. He was supervising the Thales civil and military certification over France, UK, Canada and USA, up to 1st April 2023.
