The collection “Indicator of the Line of Heaven” by Jean-Pierre Luminet is published
On March 12, Jean-Pierre LUMINET’s ninth collection, entitled “Indicator of the Sky Line,” will be published. In parallel to his great career as Director of Research at the CNRS, specializing in relativistic astrophysics, cosmology and science history but also a global specialist in “black holes”, Jean-Pierre LUMINET is recognized as a writer, lecturer, screenwriter and curator.
This collection is on the one hand a poetic approach to life, the world and the universe, and on the other hand, a work of maturity alternating blackness and light, whose poetic expression shows a subtle knowledge of the human soul, and where eroticism plays a role Central.
“Princess of Lights and Winds
stars will parade in infinite eyes
and the sea
your vast sea
I’ll see her powdering blonde fumes
swirls of clear stars in my vermel chasms
Burning foam made with worlds
unturned swell
where the moss of your suns boils”
Jean-Pierre LUMINET is the academy’s correspondent in Section 5 “History, Letters and The Arts of Air and Space.”
