Are we alone in the universe ? This question was until now in the realm of speculation and science fiction. With the revolution of exoplanets, she fell into the realm of science. Opportunities to detect traces of life and / or traces of advanced technology will be discussed. A plan will be proposed to try to reach this new frontier for humanity that would be the location of our closest neighbors. As “they” can detect us, we must be able to detect them too.
