The principle
This training course is organised around thematic encounters spread over 4 half-days.
The participant chooses: 4 half-day encounters from the 14 areas of discussion and 56 interviews proposed and builds their “customised” training course over 2 days.
Each encounter brings together up to 30 people. One or more recognised experts present the topic of the encounter for about 30 minutes, before exchanges with the audience and debate. Members of the Air and Space Academy play the role of moderators, thus ensuring the quality of the discussions.
To prepare these encounters, the experts’ contributions are grouped into a book, which is sent one month beforehand to registered participants. Each person can choose the encounter (or encounters) they wish to participate in and prepare the questions they would like to ask, either in advance via this website or directly during the encounter.
No report of the discussions will be published afterwards, in order to guarantee industrial confidentiality.
The ambition of the Encounters
Initiated by the Air and Space Academy, in partnership with Collège de Polytechnique, the Entretiens de Toulouse have three purposes:
- To bring together all aerospace stakeholders,
- To facilitate mutual understanding and dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge to all these actors,
- To contribute to exchanges between SMEs, major groups, prime contractors and research centres.
It is therefore a scientific training course drawing on innovative pedagogic techniques based on exchange in which participants are introduced to other areas of expertise and enrich their networks.
The Toulouse encounters are the result of a collaboration between industrialists – prime contractors, systems integrators, and SMEs – and research centres.
Based on priority R & D themes, key technologies and their perspectives, this event helps to ensure greater synergy between actors of all ages and different professions.
