Abstract

After clarifying a few notions about the concepts of intelligence and consciousness, we will analyse the relationships that link intelligence, consciousness, understanding and language, and how consideration of the synergies between them can lead to the emergence of a ‘strong AI’. To support this assertion and demonstrate its feasibility, we will propose a model based on some French work in this field.

We will also highlight the risks that such a technology may entail.
