1975: he joined the Defence Aircraft Group of Aeritalia as Avionic System Engineer. In 1979, as researcher on Human-Machine Interface for aerospace application, he was responsible for the definition of the crew station of the AM-X fighter/bomber aircraft. From 1982 he was involved in the international team for the advanced design of the Eurofighter/Typhoon. In 1985 he joined the New Project department of Alenia Aeronautica, where he was responsible for the activities of Advanced Design and R&T for Future Products (defence and civil). Senior advisor in Finmeccanica S.p.A. for proposition, coordination and monitoring of aviation research activities (fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, avionics systems and ATM) conducted by the Finmeccanica Companies in international and national framework.
