Frenglish-French Glossary of common aeronautical terms and collection of common barbarisms

The problem that is posed is twofold: the international influence of the French language is challenged by the domination of English and, at the same time, our language itself is increasingly abused, invaded by barbarisms and anglicisms. The Air and Space Academy (AAE) could not remain indifferent to this worrying situation. Of course, we cannot reasonably attempt to substitute ourselves for the authorities, organisations, associations whose role is precisely to defend our cultural heritage, starting with our language. On the other hand, AAE believes that it must participate in this difficult struggle in its own field, the aerospace sector, by publishing this update of its lexicon.
