AAE Dossier No.58: Towards an essential European air shield

Based on an in-depth analysis conducted by the Air and Space Academy on the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine, supplemented by feedback from conflicts in the Middle East, Dossier No.58 presents AAE’s conclusions and recommendations regarding the organisation of European forces and the strategies to be prioritised, taking into account the specific characteristics of European and Russian military cultures, concrete threats on the horizon, and the capabilities and resources to be deployed in the short and medium term.

The analyses and proposals presented in this dossier also remain relevant in the face of other major threats likely to emerge against Europe.
