Education-Training commission

The Academy’s Education and Training Committee is tasked with monitoring issues related to the training of personnel needed by companies in the aerospace industry. The committee conducted an in-depth study of engineering schools specializing in aerospace: a day of discussions on this topic took place on June 4, 2002, and a document containing recommendations was published.

The commission’s current work focuses on the possibilities for consolidating aerospace education institutions in the Toulouse area. The goal is to adapt to the European and international context and to the growing importance of the systems aspects of aerospace products. Attention will also be given to staff training, which must be adapted to the increasingly rapid pace of technological change.
