The Guiana Space Centre was the result of the national political will in the mid-1960s to endow France with an autonomous space policy. With its exceptional location, the CSG is the spaceport of Europe, an essential asset of the European Space Agency and the flight base of all European launchers. The CSG emblematic of the success of European technology is also located in a territory facing great structural difficulties, and its presence illuminates the delays of Guyana without being able to fill them…
