DESCRIPTION:By Jérôme Bonini \, Senior Vice President\, Research and Technology\, Safran Aircraft Engines \nReducing engine consumption remains a major element in the future of aeronautics. Although much progress has been made over the past 50 years\, technological breakthroughs associated with the use of renewable fuels must be considered in the next 10 years in order to meet the net-0 CO2 challenge in 2050. \nThis is the challenge of the RISE initiative launched in 2021 by Safran and GE\, whose ambition is to develop technologies to reduce the CO2 emissions of the next CFM engine by 20% by 2030-2035. \n\nFor reasons beyond our control this conference can not take place face-to-face at the J.
