  • Maryla BOUTINEAU, for “her remarkable two-volume work ‘Les femmes dans les nuages’, which traces women’s participation in the conquest of the air in the fields of aerostation, aviation and parachuting since 1784”.
  • Pedro PONCES CAMANHO and Albert TURON TRAVESA, for “their exceptional contribution to the scientific and industrial advances linked to the widespread use of composite materials in current European programs”.

Vermeil Medal

  • Yann KERR, Jacqueline BOUTIN and Andrés BORGES ALEJO, to “honor their contributions to the pioneering SMOS (Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity) space mission”.

Law, Economics and Sociology of Air and Space Transport Thesis Prize

  • Cyril-Igor GRIGORIEFF for the excellent quality of his thesis “The regime for international air carrier liability: To what extent has the envisaged uniformity of the 1999 Montreal Convention been achieved?

Grand Prix

  • Alain DABAS, Anders ELFVING, Didier MORANÇAIS and Alessandro d’OTTAVI, for their outstanding contributions to the success of the “Aeolus” mission, a European world first.
