The present document, the result of the work of several people who have been or are still affected by the subject, is a contribution to the history of aeronautical engines in France from 1944 (after liberation) until the end of the years 1980/early 1990. It emphasizes the relations that existed between the French motorists (sometimes associated with foreigners) and the corresponding official services as well as the role played by the latter. This document, prepared by actors passionate about their subject, gives raw elements that historians of craft could deepen by sifting through rigorous criticism.
