Émile Blanc, very judiciously, entrusted René Carpentier with the drafting of the work dedicated to tactical missiles, for which he has worked his entire career. Born in 1931, he did not experience the hopes and joys of those who, from 1945 onwards, promoted special gear. Few years later, he became an engineer and assigned to the section of the STAé (aeronautical technical service) who dealt with these materials, he worked with all the pioneers, whether in services, establishments or industry.
