It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean PIERSON, Honorary Member of the Academy and former Managing Director of Airbus Industrie, on November 3, 2021.
Graduated of the ENSAé, Jean Pierson started his career as a Concorde program engineer before becoming director of SOCATA. In 1976, he became director of the Aérospatiale in Toulouse before being appointed Managing Director Airbus Industrie in 1985.
A tribute will be paid to him at a future session of the Academy.
